Curious about how to virtually foster a sense of belonging for your school community? Looking for new strategies and systems to build a virtual classroom community in the 2020-21 school year? Watch this webinar to learn some “use tomorrow” strategies for building belonging (both with students as well as between adults) along with virtual system shifts that can help you to maintain and foster meaningful relationships virtually.

This update to our popular workshop from last spring includes new content and strategies. We will be offering two sessions after school hours for added flexibility. We encourage you to invite other caring adults that you work on or support directly (PLCs, content teams, co-teaching teams) as we will have an optional extension activity and support for teams interested in this topic.

Participants will...

  • Learn concrete strategies that can be implemented tomorrow.
  • Discuss virtual systems you can build to support students over time.
  • Receive a set of new strategies and customizable templates that they can use in their classrooms and school communities
  • [Optional] Extension agenda for teams to reflect on building belonging in remote or hybrid settings
