30 minutes

Join us for a 30-minute exploration and discussion of the complex impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the emotional lives of families, educators, and students.

In this session, we’ll share what the world’s foremost experts on grief have to teach us about how we can collectively process and navigate our own complex emotional landscapes, and nurture students’ socially and emotionally during this time.

Participants will...

  • Become familiar with research-based practices personally coping with and helping adults and students cope with loss and grief as a result of the pandemic.
  • Learn about practices for honoring milestones and celebrations while also processing loss and grief. Note: Following this session, we will offer more specific virtual learning focused on best practices for holding virtual celebrations such as promotion ceremonies and graduations.
  • Connect with and learn from others who are navigating this challenging time together.
